Thanksgiving Weekend

Hey guys,

As the last Saturday of the month falls on the Thanksgiving weekend, I presume a lot of people will be out of town or busy with family & friends, so there will be no ride this month.

Sunday, October 26th RAT Ride

What's up ladies & gents?

There will be a RAT Ride this Sunday, leaving from the Mobil Gas Station at the corner of the 76 & 15 Freeways. We will meet up there at 9:00 AM. My plan is to head up to Santa Ysabel for some Apple Pie and then I will be heading home.

If you want to meet me up there, or have any questions, just let me know!

Also, don't forget NCY is having a pretty big event this Saturday with vendors, food, sales, etc....check out their site for more info.

Saturday, Sept. 26th RAT Ride CANCELLED

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, I have heard no response from anyone that was able to lead the ride tomorrow. Chuck and Matt both have other plans and nobody else volunterred, so there will be no ride tomorrow.

Motoexpo is happening down in Del Mar for those looking for something to do!

RAT Ride

Hello RAT's!

Just a quick post to remind you that our monthly ride is scheduled for this Saturday, Sept. 27th at 9:00AM.

I have to work that day, so I'm looking for a volunteer to lead the ride (Chuck, Matt or anyone). The ride can leave from NCY or any place of your choosing and head wherever you like.......Motoexpo????

If someone can let me know ASAP who's leading it and post the info here as well, I'd really appreciate it.

Chuck mentioned to me last month to just switch the monthly rides to the last Sunday of every month instead of alternating Sat/Sun like we do now. I think we just might do that after this month unless anyone has any objections..........?

Also, our monthly Bike Night was scheduled for Wednesday, October 1st at Churchills, but the turnouts lately have been pretty small (as have the ride turnouts), so we'll call it quits a month early and resume them in the Spring. We usually stop the Bike Nights after October anyways, as the cooler weather only brings even smaller groups.

That's it for now.....don't forget about the Motorcycle Expo in Del Mar this weekend!!!!! I'll be there on Sunday!

Upcoming Reminders

Hello Triumph Fans!

Just a couple of reminders.....Sunday, August 31st is our monthly RAT Ride meeting up at 10:00 AM. Instead of meeting at NCY, we're gonna try something a little different. We'll meet up at the Mobil gas station off of the 15 Freeway right at the Highway 76 Exit. We will leave there around 10:15 and head up through some back roads to Idyllwild. It's gonna be a good ride!

Also, on Wednesday, September 3rd at 6:00pm is our monthly Bike Night at Churchills.

Bike Night

Steve Edelfsen's a TV Star

Anybody else see our RAT Brother Steve (Speed Triple, but he had a guy loose it in front of him during a track day and wiped out his bike and I don't think has replaced it yet) on TV today? He was being interviewed on Channel 8 on the price of gas...

Never mentioned motorcycles though. I notice HD is now claiming their bikes get 50 MPG (in a pig's butt they do...) The point, though, is that one of the many benefits of bikes is they use less gas then a cage. Don't know how Steve resisted the opportunity to rub that in... I never do!
