The RAT Pack out of Brea was the group that originally planned this ride, and now I'm not so sure if they are still going or not.
But either way, my Wife and I are going up there for a quick breakfast at Hells Kitchen, so if anybody wants to come along, feel free to join us....including you Jennie! :)
We will be leaving from Temecula at 8:30 AM. As of right now, there is a 50% chance of rain tomorrow. I will be checking the weather again in the morning and if it is looking worse, I will most likely not go.
Feel free to call me in the morning at 858-775-9566 for the latest or re-check the Blog for a new message. I'll be up around 6:30 AM.
Current weather for the Lake Elsinore area is holding at around 40-50% chance of rain this morning with a slight chance of rain this afternoon as well.
What is the interest in going on the ride today??? I've only heard from one person....
Yea, Current weather report is showing 70% chance of rain tonight. That's a bummer for the first bike night. I will be heading down there anyway to grab some dinner, as I think most people are not yet on this Blog.
I would love for this Blog to become the "epicenter" for the RAT Pack, so that all members can see the latest & greatest at anytime.
Our first ride will be on Sunday, April 27th meeting up at NCY at 10:00 AM. I'm currently looking for a really good route, so feel free to offer suggestions.
Another local RAT Pack has organized an overnight weekend ride up to Solvang on May 3-4. Anyone from our Pack is more than welcome to tag along. Hotel info is: Solvang Inn and Cottages 1-800-848-8484. Just mention "Triumph Motorcycle Club".
We will be doing a similar weekend ride up to Big Bear & Lake Arrowhed on June 21-22. There will also be a group leaving on Sunday morning to meet up with the overnight bunch for those that can't get away for the entire weekend. More info as the date gets closer.
Just a reminder that we are riding this Sunday, April 27th, meeting up at NCY at 10:00 AM and leaving shortly thereafter.
I'm thinking of heading up into Julian, as temperatures are supposed to be quite warm this weekend, so the mountains will bring a little bit of cooler air to the ride.
Also, just wanted to let you all know that NCY is having a Triumph "Open House" this Saturday, the 26th. All Triumph accessories are going to be 20% OFF with other sales throughout the store going on as well.
Finally, today I sent out official invitations to everyone on my Triumph email list to join this RAT Blog that Daniel at NCY recently set up for us. Effective now, this will be the main source of communication between myself and all members, so I really encourage you to join and participate in the Blog. If you are planning on going for a ride and looking for others to join you, please post the details on the Blog so others may know.
For those that couldn't make it, we had a nice small group of about 8 or 9 people and we all went to Julian for lunch.
The weather was great in Julian. MUCH cooler than we anitcipated it to be, with a really nice breeze.
The next Bike Night will be on Wednesday, May 7th, 6:30pm at Churchills in San Marcos.
Also, I just wanted to thank Chuck and Matt as they have both volunteered to help lead the "every-other-month" Saturday rides, since I have to work. I will continue leading the Sunday rides. As always, please feel free to contribute your destination and/or route ideas.
ALSO, SoCal675 forum is holding a group meet up at Pedro's Tacos (located somewhere in Ortega Highway) this Saturday, May 3rd. I'll post more info as it develops
What's going on guys, looks like you are all stuck with me for this Saturdays ride, leaving NCY at about 9:00 am. I've got a couple of ideas for some rides. Mainly depends where people would like to go.
My first idea is to head up S22 to Borrego. Lunch possibly in Borrego if we want to eat that early. Then South on S3 to Yaqui Pass Rd to 78 West to Scissors Crossing and back up to Julian. Then either drag Julien and possibly eat, or pull off on Wynola and head down to Santa Ysabel.
Now something We can also try to stick a little more inland with something like a Lake Wolford to Couser Canyon to 76 to possibly Palomar(?) and play in the local mountains Let me know what you guys think.
What's going on guys? We all ready for a ride this Sunday? The weather looks like it should be beautifull. I know the Thruxton is going to be nice and shiny in all it's yellow goodness. I could swear that I saw our fearless leader riding on something that was orange the other day, but I know John wouldn't get rid of his Triumph. He keeps those bikes for ever!
What's up guys? I'm thinking about heading out for a little ride tomorrow morning. I got a new camera and want to try and head out to some cool spots to take pics of the bike. Hit me up if you guys would be interested.
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone was going to show up for the ride tomorrow. I just got a new camera and would love to be able to take some nice pictures of all the Triumphs we have in the pack. I am open to ideas of where to go for a ride tomorrow, the weather should be nice. Let me know if any of you have some ideas. Hope to see you guys tomorrow!

I'm going on the Hansen Dam run this Sunday--LOTS of vintage brit bikes! When's the next bike nite?
Unfortunately my folks have gone back to UK. Real babysitters cost a fortune, so won't be able to ride for a while! :-(
John,
Thanks for letting me join the ride to Julian. It was a good time, and I'd like to do it again. I'll keep an eye on this blog for future info.
Thanks Again!
